I don't trust this site because of the numerous questionable hands. I still have money in account from way back when they were bodog and then bovada (back when I could consistently win).
I have an outdated mailing address and in order to change my address they want me to take a selfie with my ID and a picture of a utility bill and to email these to them. Wtf? I'm not comfortable at all with this so I looked into opening a bitcoin wallet with the android app. Well every time I copy and paste my wallet address I get an error saying I need a valid address. This could me being new to bitcoin, but I am suspicious that they are just making it impossible for me to get my money.
Ps. They don't have people answering the phones due to covid and the chat help is garbage.

Hey guys, I'm new to this sub but I have a question.
I've been playing online with Bovada/Ignition for about a year now. It's okay, not great. I'm from India and PokerStars just banned the global version here and launched a local version, which means I can only play with fellow Indian players. This means no Zoom (which was my primary game) and only 3-4 tables running at a time, not helping with volumes.
We also have some local operators but their rake is bad and they also charge 30% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) of your winnings above INR 10k (~USD 150), which is crappy.

I didn't see anything posted, so I thought I'd give those who don't know, a quick guide to sports betting as an American. (online). This is in hopes of you not getting in over your head, or depositing on one of the 100's of untrusted sites on the internet.
Disclaimer: If you are a college athlete (specifically if you reside in Iowa City) move along.
Being a multi billion dollar business, many a website is willing to take your wagers on CFB. Your first question, is it legal? Well... It's not illegal from your standpoint. You won't be going to jail for placing a bet online. The legality limbo is on the websites side. So while you won't get in trouble, these sides are more apt to run away with your money. Which is why I can only recommend you a few sites:

1 - Bookmaker.eu I would trust my net worth with these folks. Easy to deposit, easy to cash out (within 2 days)

2 Bovada.lv - Youve probably heard of Bodog. This is Bodog under a new name. Cashout by check is 7-10 days. They have been in the business for 15 years, and are very trustworthy as well.

3 5Dimes - I have never used so I can't rank them higher, though many in the industry will vogue for their honesty. They also have the best "Juice" of the 3, more on that later.

So, we now know where we can play. Now, how to make money at sports betting.
Rule #1, always bet the same on every game. If you wildly fluctuate your betting game by game, by feeling, you will go broke. Period. Depending on how much money you want to risk, having 10-20 "units" would be my recommendation for a starting bankroll.
Rule #2 Do not chase your losses. You will have losing weekends. This is why we bet in units. Betting on Hawaii at 11PM to try to score a win is a way to go broke. You don't know anything about them Rainbows.
Rule #3 - Pick a conference, and stick with it. Study a conference, know that conference better than the rest of the public. You'll never know it better than the bookie, but thats not who you are betting against. The lines swing depending on who the public is betting on. For instance, I have found that Notre Dame has a small bias in their favor on every game, because they are so heavily bet. Mike Leach teams typically have the public betting the Over hard. So learn a conference, find a public bias, and pound it all season. Profit.
Personal Rule #4 - Don't bet on your own team. It just makes the loss that much harder. Alabama fans, I'm not sure if this applies to you.
Other things you need to know:
Juice - The amount of money the Bookie takes for Accepting your bet. Bovada and Bookmaker charge 10%. So if you see a line that says -110, it means you are paying 110 dollars to win 100. Underdogs will be listed as "+". North Carolina is listed as +325 for opening weekend. meaning if you bet 100 for them to upset USC, you will win $325. You need to win roughly 53% of your sports bets to break even giving up 10% each bet. A very good professional sports bettor will hit at around 60%. So do not get discouraged if you lose a few to start.

I don't think it violates the spirit of either of these two sections. At the end of the day I assume Bovada can say "it looks like a bot" and freeze my funds regardless. I'm more curious to hear people's thoughts though.

Mining requires expensive miners so you need a lot of money to mine. You can use cloud mining service but beware of scams!!
Freshly mined coins are better than other because such coins don't have transaction history. You can sell such coins with premium (of course not using exchanges).
Profitable vs. unprofitable mining: Depends on the price of hardware, cost of electricity. Technological development (Moore's Law). There are calculators online to determine if mining would be profitable for you.
